The concept of rentjewels.com is a unique one that provides customers with the option to rent jewelry online from the site itself. Our project for Taruna Biyani included an extension of her portal so that a set of her products could be rented to buyers.
What were our challenges?
A limited number of jewelry pieces could be booked on a platform for buyers. For each jewelry piece, there was a booking fee and a security deposit required to be paid by the person looking to rent it.It was important to the admin that buyers be able to sort, search, or rent products based on the category and the period they choose.
The Resolution
Administrators had access to a website that provided them with get more info tools for managing their daily product listings, deactivating products, and processing orders.It kept a record of who bought what and how long they needed to wait for it to be returned.Clients and administrators were provided with automatic reminders and expiry lists.In the event of a delay in return, the system automatically recalculated the amount due from the buyer.
